The Worship Band
The Worship Band leads worship at the 10:30am service.
This is a great group of musicians whose abilities can vary from students to professionals. Modern worship music remains current in the life of the church and is used to enhance the spiritual content of the sermon series. Guitar and bass players, keys (piano and key board), drummers, vocalists and horn players play on a rotating basis.
Rehearsals are led by Brett Eichman and are held on Wednesdays from 5:30-7pm in the Sanctuary.

The Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir leads the congregation in traditional worship at the 8:30am service August through June. This is an SATB ensemble with solo opportunities.
Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:00pm with a warm up rehearsal on Sundays at 8:15am.
The Chancel Choir is directed by Tom Gifford and open to all, No audition is necessary.

Old Mission Bell Choir
For the adult ringer, Old Mission Bell Choir is a fun group of people that rehearsel every Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00pm. The Bell Choir rings in worship once a month and on some of our special services.

Seasonal Ensembles
These musical groups are coordinated for worship services throughout the year such as Back to School Sunday, Old Mission Christmas, Easter Worship and Juneteenth. Rehearsals vary
according to the season and generally meet for 4 weeks prior to their Sunday. Youth and adult musicians play alongside one another promoting a mentoring relationship. We value all levels of
musicianship in each ensemble, so call your mom and get your trombone out of her basement and join us!

Kid’s Choir
Choir- Led by Karen Eisele. This awesome group of kids reheases during Kids Church at 11am. Rehearsals begin 4-6 weeks prior to their performances on Old Mission Christmas and Palm Sunday. We have a lot of fun!
Worship Choir
The Worship Choir is a great entry point into worship leadership in the 10:30 service. The primary function of the choir is to lead congregational singing at the 10:30am service. Youth and adult singers are welcome to join. Rehearsals are led in a casual and fun atmosphere which allows for a pairing of connections to God and others through Christ centered music. The worship choir rehearsals are held on Sunday evenings at 5:00pm for 4 weeks leading up to the Sunday they sing. No audition required and all ability levels are welcomed.
Childcare is available for all Wednesday evening rehearsals.
The Old Mission Organ
The Old Mission Organ is a Schantz Opus 932 1969 3M/P. 5 divisions. 44 stops. 39 ranks with 2308 pipes.
In 2021, the organ had a rebuild of the entire control system by Peterson ICS 4000. We have been blessed with Gloria Slagle to give specifications for this custom built organ and act as our staff organist for generations.
Gloria has been on staff for over 65 years and leads the congregation at the Traditional worship service, as well as special services , funerals and weddings.

Accompanists, collaborative pianists and soloists
Pianists are needed throughout the year in rehearsals with both children and adult ensembles. They are also needed for soloists in worship, weddings and funerals. We love to keep a list of capable and willing musicians. We are also always looking for vocalists and instrumentalists to play solos in worship or to play with one of our main ensembles.
