Baptism

Baptism is a visible sign of a spiritual covenant.

Through baptism,

God claims us as beloved children,
promises us eternal life, and welcomes us into the body of Christ.

In the United Methodist Church,
we celebrate baptism for people of all ages,
trusting that God’s grace is at work in every stage of life.

Infants are baptized in the faith of the church, with parents and congregation promising to nurture them in Christ. Youth and adults are baptized as they profess their faith and commit to following Jesus Christ.

If you are interested in baptism or would like to learn more,

we invite you to contact the church office or speak with one of our pastors.
We would love to help you prepare for this meaningful step in your faith journey.
