"When we raise children in love and community, we raise a future of hope and unity."
At Old Mission Early Education Center, our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment in partnership with families, encouraging the social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual development of each child. Rooted in love and community, we foster meaningful relationships, celebrate creativity through play-based learning, and support each child’s growth in every area of development. As a community of lifelong learners, we’re committed to growing together—children, families, and educators alike.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment in partnership with families that encourage the social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual development of each child.
Our Values
Community
Old Mission EEC strives to build and strengthen relationships between families, teachers, children, the church, and our greater KC area. We do this by providing family events, inviting families in to help. and communicating regularly in a variety of avenues.
Love
We teach our students to love, care and show concern for others and ourselves by demonstrating our love for them and God each day.
Creativity
We believe that the strong problem solving skills and independence that children learn in their early childhood years will set them up for success in the future. We support this development through open ended and play based activities.
Life Long Learning
We believe that everyone in our community is a learner. both children and adults. Our teachers participate in ongoing professional development and coursework and are encouraged to seek professional goals.
Developing the Whole Child
We teach children by addressing their needs physically, academically, socially, and emotionally.
